02Eligible Refund Cases

The following situations are clearly eligible for a refund:

  • The product doesn't match the description on its detail page
  • The product has critical bugs that prevent core functionality from working
  • You accidentally purchased the same product twice
  • The product is technically incompatible with your stack and our support team can't resolve it after a reasonable troubleshooting effort
  • You simply changed your mind β€” within the 30-day window

03Ineligible Cases

Refunds are not available in the following situations:

  • The request is made more than 30 days after the original purchase date
  • The product has been extensively modified or deployed to production (the value has already been received)
  • The purchase was an Exclusive license β€” once the product is removed from the marketplace and source rights transferred, the sale is final
  • You did not verify compatibility (stack, version, dependencies) before purchase and our documentation accurately describes the requirements
  • You are unable to install or operate the product due to insufficient technical background, and our documentation and support team have offered reasonable assistance

04How to Request a Refund

Refund requests are submitted entirely from your dashboard:

  1. Sign in to your AppDevs Store account
  2. Navigate to My Orders
  3. Find the order containing the product you want refunded
  4. Open the order detail and click Request refund
  5. Fill out the short form, including a brief reason (optional but helpful)
  6. Submit and wait for a confirmation email β€” usually within a few hours

05Refund Processing Timeline

Once submitted, here is what to expect:

  • Approval: our team reviews and approves eligible refunds within 2 business days
  • Return: funds are returned to your original payment method via Stripe
  • Bank processing: credit-card refunds typically appear in 5–10 business days, depending on your issuer
  • International transfers may take a few extra business days depending on your bank's settlement schedule

06License Termination After Refund

When a refund is issued, the corresponding license is revoked. By accepting the refund you agree to:

  • Stop using the product immediately
  • Delete all copies of the source files from your systems
  • Cease distributing or deploying the product in any form

The license key associated with the refunded order is invalidated in our system. If you change your mind later, you're welcome to repurchase the product at the current listed price.

07Partial Refunds

For multi-product orders, refunds can be issued on a per-item basis. If some items in an order are eligible and others are not, we'll refund the eligible portion and leave the rest of the order intact.

Bulk-purchase discounts are recalculated when issuing a partial refund β€” the remaining items are billed at the price they would have cost without the bulk discount.
